Senior Quantity Surveyor Join a project that’s shaping the digital future. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of a high value major new data centre project in Abu Dhabi. To support and assist the site management in leading the surveying team in a specific site (some of small sites), to determine the exact location of the main control points, measure points and heights, lines, areas, and paths, and prepare drawings through cooperation with the draftsman. About Your Team Join us at a pivotal stage as we mobilise for one of our newest, high-value projects. As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be a key member of the commercial team, supporting cost control, contract administration, and value engineering from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and commercially driven, ready to make an immediate impact on a fast-paced, high-stakes build. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate reporting, cost tracking, and commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Your Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: Verify Surveyors’ measurements and ensure all changes are properly documented Liaise with other departments to follow up on drawings and ensure Surveyors have the latest revisions Support the Surveying Manager in resolving issues and attend site meetings as needed or in their absence Assist with project handovers to the municipality or client Provide coverage for absent Surveyors and offer support as required Guide Draughtsmen to ensure accurate and up-to-date drawings, including as-builts Coordinate and manage Surveyors’ daily tasks, leave, and timesheets Monitor Surveyors’ performance, offering training and support when necessary Oversee surveying equipment, ensuring scheduled calibration and accuracy Assist ALEC and subcontractors with locating points and updating drawings What we are looking for: Registration as Surveyor strongly recommended. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting skills. Excellent abilities in MS Office and Auto CAD. Experience in operating and screening the equipment Qualifications and Experience: Degree or National Diploma in Surveying.
