Engineering Supervisor

Cheval Maison, The Palm is looking for a competent Engineering Supervisor to supervise the maintenance team, ensuring that the property is maintained to high standards and that agreed testing and maintenance procedures are completed annually. As Engineering Supervisor, some of your duties will include: Monitoring and issuing tasks from the in-house PPM schedule, including fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, and ladder schedule. Monitoring and issuing tasks from the contractors' PPM servicing schedule, including fire alarms, BMS, etc., to ensure plant and equipment are serviced according to manufacturers' recommendations to minimize breakdowns and extend service life. Monitoring and maintaining all building services, apartments, fixtures, structures, and finishes to ensure safety and quality for colleagues and guests. Supervising the maintenance team with emphasis on work standards, knowledge, compliance with H&S guidelines, security, and appearance, following company policies. Maintaining effective spares and stores to cover most breakdowns on site. Complying with all internal rules, policies, and procedures, including Health and Safety, Data Protection, and colleagues' Handbook policies. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. You should apply for this role if you have: Significant experience in a multi-skilled engineering role covering plumbing, electrical, mechanical, plant, and building fabric. Broad health and safety experience, including risk assessments and method statements. Basic experience with green practices. Experience working with BMS systems. Working knowledge of MS Office. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing. Confident communication skills, both internally and externally.
