The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer contributes to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. This position involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration with other teams to advance the toolkit's capabilities. Prior experience with the creation of wallets or in De Fi will be beneficial. Responsibilities Innovative Solutions: Contribute to the creation of groundbreaking projects, utilizing agile methodologies and innovative technologies to create incredible platforms. Scalability: Ensure backend services remain effortlessly responsive and real-time, accommodating the platform's continual growth and evolving user base. Security: Uphold the highest security standards in all backend processes and services to safeguard our users' assets and data. Job requirements Advanced Node/Java Script Expertise: +5 years of experience working with Node.js and Java Script programming. Experience building or integrating crypto wallets for De Fi and blockchain applications. Familiarity with modular architecture for scalable applications. Experience developing complex platforms and APIs. Understanding of Peer-to-Peer technologies. Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies. Strong understanding of security best practices. Nice to have Experience with high-availability concepts and system reliability practices. Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is advantageous. Familiarity with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues. Experience in mobile development with React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
