KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and maintain all documentation and procedures including the HSEMS system on site. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures. Initiate and organize HSE trainings & TBTs for pilots, other employees, visitors, and contractors. Conduct safety walkabouts in the depot to stop unsafe acts/conditions and report anomalies. Conduct investigations of all accidents and near-misses. Inspect the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformities. Establish and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and SOPs as needed. Conduct spot checks on pilots to ensure they are following SOPs. Conduct site safety visits to ensure the safe delivery of products to clients. Participate in emergency response drills and act as an emergency responder during real emergencies. Verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use. Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications. Review and approve all subcontractors’ safety plans. Coordinate registration and removal of hazardous waste through the DM portal. Identify training needs of pilots and other employees and communicate to the HSE Manager. Ensure proper traffic and asset management within the depot. Conduct routine checks on fire systems, spill kits, and other safety equipment at both depot and trucks. Inspect tools, ladders, and other safety-critical equipment. Conduct random alco-blow checks on pilots and report anomalies. Perform any other HSE-related tasks or projects assigned by the HSE Manager. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in HSE duties. Experience with HSEMS documentation. Experience as an HSE Officer on site. Knowledge of site operation health and safety standards. Fire safety and first aid certification. Experience with audits and compliance assessments. High-level certification, with additional qualifications in NEBOSH/IGC preferred to understand and implement health and safety standards on site.
