The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an EMEA Business Partner Compliance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by working closely with the Global Leader, Business Partner Compliance, and the EMEA Business Partner Compliance Team to support the Solventum E&C Program in direct business markets, as well as indirect business (export) markets. This position will report directly to the EMEA Leader, Business Partner Compliance. Supporting the implementation and execution of the E&C compliance program in the Solventum EMEA Area (Europe, Middle East and Africa) through developing and deploying local training, guidance, risk assessments and communications on key E&C policies, processes and the Solventum Code of Conduct, including with third party intermediary onboarding. Supporting the proactive identification of compliance risk and work with commercial and operations stakeholders to mitigate such risks, including with third party intermediaries. Reviewing high risk transactions and engagements such as conflicts of interests, third party intermediary due diligence, business programs and business courtesies (pre-approval and post activity monitoring). Supporting compliance governance processes in the Area to ensure leaders are setting the right tone, compliance has visibility to business strategies, and key compliance initiatives are being cascaded. Monitoring key compliance metrics and assisting with developing action plans or strategies to address opportunities identified from monitoring efforts as well as investigations. Acting as a point-of-contact for employees who have compliance questions and respond to those questions, or direct employees to the right resources to address the concern or question. Your Skills And Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start). Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of proven experience working in a public or private environment in the fields of ethics and compliance, law, finance, audit or other roles involved with company governance processes. Experience working in healthcare or the life sciences industry with a multi-national corporation. Fluent knowledge and understanding of applicable health care laws and regulations related to interactions with government officials and organizations, including health care professionals and organizations (i.e., U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and similar EMEA region equivalents). Fluent in English (Arabic and Eastern European languages desirable). In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required: Demonstrated leadership, project management and execution skills. Self-starter with continuous improvement mindset and lean thinking; recognizing opportunities to drive improvements and taking initiative to deliver. Experience collaborating with multiple functions and countries; ability to influence divergent positions into a common standard. Self-motivated, problem solver with ability to handle ambiguity and overcome obstacles. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Strong communication skills including verbal, listening and highly developed presentation. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to use Microsoft Office products expertly; working familiarity with (proficiency desirable) platforms such as Concur, Salesforce.com, Power BI, SAP or their equivalents. Work location/time: Remote/Hybrid Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and/or nights. Travel: May be required. Moderate. Relocation Assistance: Not authorized.
