Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Computers) Nationality Indian Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring swift resolution to minimize downtime. Conduct thorough diagnostics on desktop environments, identifying root causes of problems to implement effective solutions. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, ensuring all software is up-to-date and functioning optimally. Manage user accounts and permissions across various platforms, ensuring data security and accessibility. Assist in the deployment of new desktop hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems. Provide training and guidance to end-users on software applications and troubleshooting techniques. Document support processes and solutions in a knowledge base to enhance future support efficiency. Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance checks to prevent potential issues. Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues beyond desktop support. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve support processes. Desired Candidate Profile Sound knowledge of Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Knowledge of Backup solutions. Proficiency with Network Monitoring tools. Networking skills. Server support and configuration. Desktop support skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or IT support roles. Relevant certifications such as Comp TIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are highly valued. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Strong technical skills in Windows and Mac OS platforms, along with familiarity with mobile device management.
