We are looking for a Human Resources Manager who willwork with our HR Business Partner and directly with the business and all people managers to deliver exceptional HR services that meet the changing demands of the Serco business. The HR Managerwill interact with the Central HR and HR Shared Services, and will be a focal point of contact for the Contract Manager and the Transport support team and support the management of the any thirdparty partners supporting the delivery of the contract. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and implementing performance management programmes. Has experience of advising line managers on general HR and employee relations issues. An individual with strong communications and interpersonal skills, high level of presentation and facilitation skills. This role is based in Abu Dhabi, and will primarily support our Transport and Airport sectors. Key Accountabilities Works with both the HR Business Partner and HR Shared Services Management to agree and implement strategies that support business objectives. Liaises with people managers regarding the people issues related to procedures and policies and ensures that people managers work within the defined policy & procedures using the HR Service Now and HR Case Management team. Provides coaching and mentoring to line managers on employee relations, talent reviews performance management and succession planning, internal policies and procedures, pay review, talent management, absence management and people transition management. Responsible for ensuring the quality of induction within their business units and ensuring the contract specific induction for people managers and employees is completed. Plan, design, deliver and implement a successful training and development programme as when required by the contract and sector across different geographies. When required, work closely with external training provider to establish training content and modules to be rolled out to internal and external members of staff. Support the development of training interventions from both internal and external sources to uplift the standards of the company’s expertise and competency levels. Ensure the on-going competence of all team members and arrange any training that may be required to ensure up-skilling and continuous development of staff capability. Collaborates with senior management to develop and disseminate appropriate Nationalization policies and procedures and advises internal stakeholders on the relevant policies and procedures of the programme. Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent. Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning, exit interview analysis, recruitment, leavers management and attrition analysis). Lead and manage HR projects collaborating with different stakeholders as of when required by the business and function. Lead mobilizations and demobilization of contracts within the sector. Desired Candidate Profile Completed university degree in related field from reputable university. 5-7 years of experience across varied HR areas, ideally worked as HR generalist and demonstrated expertise with performance management; minimum 3 years on a managerial experience. Experience working in a multi-cultural environment ideally in a large international company. Middle East and Airport experience preferred. Broad knowledge of UAE and KSA labour laws and legislations highly required. Specific HR focused qualification e.g. CIPD part-qualified or equivalent Strong knowledge in job evaluation, pay scale and structures, compensation and benefits and organizational design. Solid knowledge of employee relations, grievance, disciplinary and ‘speak up’ process. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, MS Forms) Preferably with Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt Certified) Project Management Skills (Prince 2 or PMP certified is desirable). Demonstrate breadth of understanding of core HR services and ideally systems (e.g. SAP, Success Factors and Data Management systems – Power App, Power BI) Ability to communicate in the Arabic language (speaking, reading and writing).
