Amazon Premium Beauty is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to drive key perception-building elements of GCC Beauty businesses on both on- and off-platform channels by using content as a medium of communication. This role includes planning and executing social media strategies, managing brand and influencer collaborations, and increasing engagement through category-specific social properties while building video workstreams curated for each product category and driving up brand engagement across them. The role will also assist in PR activities, including organic media coverage and paid media activations, by spearheading management and reporting ownership. This role requires building a thorough understanding of what drives a customer to shop Premium Beauty products via analysis of on-platform customer data and awareness of current market trends to design a content-first strategy for the business. Responsibilities include overseeing content development and making data-backed decisions to leverage central programs such as: Live video shopping Influencer marketing Video creation programs Public relations for brand benefit The role demands high innovation and capability, working in a dynamic environment with frequent developments that must be actioned and leveraged immediately. The candidate should be well-versed in beauty and fashion trends and proactive in ensuring Amazon's communication keeps pace with global trends. Key job responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Execution: Plan, oversee, execute, and analyze performance of social media strategies for Beauty, including brand and influencer collaborations and content creation. Develop and manage category-specific social properties to increase engagement and visibility through cooperative and brand-focused initiatives. Plan content for offline and online activations. Brand Partnerships & Funding: Pitch and secure brand collaborations for social media campaigns and influencer-driven content. Manage and execute content partnerships, including customized calendars, performance tracking, and brand-specific activations. Public Relations & Media Outreach: Implement category-wise initiatives, spearhead and report on Amazon Beauty media activations, and drive organic and paid media coverage through press releases and other channels. Product Summary Videos (PSVs): Optimize video creation for products and categories by streamlining brand videos, overseeing in-house video generation, identifying content gaps, and conducting performance analysis. Emerging Platform Exploration: Identify and experiment with new social platforms (e.g., Pinterest, Snapchat) to expand audience reach and engagement. Scorecard & Performance Tracking: Create monthly performance scorecards to monitor key metrics across the Beauty customer lifecycle. Minimum qualifications include: Passion for Beauty as a category Prior experience in social media, traffic-driving mechanisms, and other marketing channels Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Excel Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize Ability to use data and metrics to support decisions Experience in marketing of premium brands, e-commerce retail, or advertising Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
