Specialist / Lead HSE Engineer (Technical Safety/Loss Prevention)

We are currently looking for Lead HSE Engineers to be based in Abu Dhabi location. Key Responsibilities: Lead HSE activities for offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international safety standards. Conduct hazard and risk assessments, particularly focusing on offshore-specific risks. Design and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize risks to personnel, the environment, and assets. Oversee safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards. Support the development of safety management systems and procedures for offshore operations. Provide guidance on technical safety issues, ensuring all safety systems are designed to meet the highest standards. Liaise with project teams to ensure the timely and effective resolution of safety-related issues. Contribute to emergency response planning and safety training programs for offshore personnel. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a strong focus on offshore operations. Extensive experience in technical safety, risk management, and loss prevention in the offshore context. In-depth understanding of offshore safety regulations and industry best practices. Proven track record of leading and managing HSE activities for large-scale offshore projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
