MEP Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an MEP Quantity Surveyor to provide measurement and estimating duties for a consulting company in Dubai, UAE. Role Description This is a full-time MEP Quantity Surveyor role located in Dubai. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation and management, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. Daily tasks include analyzing project requirements, preparing tender documents, evaluating costs, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate and timely cost management. Middle East experience is a requirement. Roles and Responsibilities Pre/post-contract duties include completing the quantity measurement of MEP and some civil items for the preparation of a Bill of Quantities. Capable of executing take-offs using BIM for MEP items to create a bill of quantities and a project asset list. Capable of measuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes of work. Post-contract duties include reviewing and fully understanding contract documents and providing expertise in reading drawings and specifications. Should have previous experience in utilizing BIM for quantity take-offs. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
