Management Consulting Company for a Client engagement Ideal Candidate
The Client is seeking an expert in art logistics operations who should be proficient in transport handling storage and installation of artworks and cultural objects. Primary Responsibilities
Deep knowledge of handling protocols for paintings sculptures antiques and installations; Custom crating and environmental protection (climate control shock absorption); Coordination of air sea and land transport (including fine art shuttles and couriers); Navigating customs clearance CITES and international regulations; Managing white-glove delivery services and high-security transit; Operation of climate-controlled secure storage facilities; Disaster preparedness and insurance risk mitigation; Installation/deinstallation of artworks per curatorial plans; Use of logistics software (e.g. TMS CMS) and condition reporting tools; Experience with major fine art logistics firms (e.g. Crozier Gander & White Momart Dietl Artex) Desired Experience and Qualifications
Expert in safely handling a variety of artworks (paintings sculptures installations etc.); Skilled in custom-built crates cushioning materials and museum-standard packaging; Knowledge of domestic and international transport (air land sea) including fine art shuttles and white-glove services; Familiarity with global customs processes CITES and ATA Carnets; Understanding of fine art insurance and liability coverage during transit/storage; Strong organizational skills to manage complex logistics for exhibitions fairs and private collections; High accuracy in packing documentation and condition assessments; Ability to work on tight deadlines for installations fairs and traveling exhibits Workload/Location
