Information Technology The Fit-Out Production Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and managing the fit-out process of modular pods—including interior walls, flooring, ceilings, partitions, doors, sanitary fittings, MEP fixtures, and finishes—ensuring timely delivery, adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Execution: Prepare daily and weekly production schedules for fit-out activities based on project timelines and resource availability. Supervise and coordinate fit-out teams (carpenters, tilers, electricians, plumbers, etc.) during pod assembly and finishing. Ensure production targets are met without compromising quality or safety. Technical Oversight: Interpret and implement architectural, ID, and MEP drawings in the fit-out process. Provide technical support to fit-out teams for installation of walls, fixtures, cladding, cabinetry, and other finishes. Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, and design departments to resolve any site-related or production issues. Quality & Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with quality standards and project specifications throughout the fit-out process. Ensure proper material usage, handling, and installation practices are followed. Conduct internal inspections and support QC teams in quality audits and client inspections. Process Optimization & Documentation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve finish quality. Maintain production logs, installation records, and material usage reports. Track and report work progress, manpower, and productivity metrics to the Production Manager. Safety & Coordination: Enforce HSE protocols on the factory floor. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely availability of fit-out materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in fit-out or modular/pod manufacturing (e.g., bathrooms, hotel rooms, hospital units). Strong understanding of construction materials, interior finishes, and modular production methods. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (Auto CAD, Revit, or similar tools). Familiar with lean manufacturing or modular construction workflows. Excellent team coordination, communication, and time management skills.
