Role Summary: Establish, maintain, document and regularly test a plan to recover from loss of service for unknown period, which requires that work be moved to an alternative system in a non‐routine way.Responsibilities: Ensuring adequate and timely training and development are completed on time as assigned by managers or Learning & Development Department.Ensure timely self‐performance assessment and performance discussions are completed with team managers on SLA/OLA.Informal supervision of less experienced team members.Participate in all aspects of infrastructure system planning to ensure the secure provision of IT system data center, aligned to division strategy.Implementation of systems and services as per business and project requirement.Install required hardware components, software, and system services such as backup email and operating systems following plan & instructions.Test potentially defective system components, resolving any malfunctions found and recording the results.Tune, upgrade, and maintain both internally and externally supplied system components.Manage the operations capacity of the systems resources.Monitor and analyze the growth in capacity requirements and ensure that resources are available when required.Define DC and DR strategy and process aligned to Infrastructure management plan.Tape library and virtual library system management.Perform routine backups and restores.Perform active directory operational tasks such as applying group policy and organization unit setups.Exchange (email), Blackberry, and archiving systems operational tasks.Evaluate latest trends in infrastructure system service and provide recommendations for upgrades.Research new technology and recommend implementation.Requirements: 1–3 years’ experience of working in IT Operations & Systems.Experience of working with Microsoft operating systems, SQL database products, IIS Server, and Exchange server.ITIL 4 managing professional recognized.Proactively report EHS hazards incidents and potential threats to the EHS department.Knowledge of Linux OS & Oracle DB preferred.Strong hands-on with MS Office.Certifications: Certification in Data Centre international standards.Microsoft certifications and Linux certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
