SALES DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEAD (100% Remote outside of Canada)

OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and performance-driven SDR Team Lead to oversee and support our Business Development team, join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. You will work with an amazing remote team servicing and building relationships with clients primarily based in the US and Canada. This role is responsible for managing daily SDR activities, improving outreach effectiveness, coaching team members, and serving as the primary Point of Contact (POC) between SDRs and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong outbound sales experience, proven leadership abilities, and a data‑driven approach to improving conversion rates and pipeline growth. In collaboration with the Business Development department, the Sales Development Team Lead is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the daily activities, outreach volume, and performance of the Business Development team
Monitor SDRs' KPIs, including conversion rates, quality, demo booked/held, and pipeline hygiene
Conduct regular email audits and performance check‑ins
Support onboarding and continuous training of new and existing SDRs
Identify process gaps and recommend workflow improvements
Prepare and submit regular performance and progress reports to the Business Development Manager
Ensure compliance with internal data standards, campaign guidelines, and confidentiality policies
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Development or SDR roles
At least 1 year of experience in a Team Lead, Senior SDR, or supervisory role (preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR targets (meetings booked, SQLs, pipeline)
Strong understanding of outbound sales processes, buyer personas, and ICP targeting
Hands‑on experience with outreach and sales tools (Pipedrive, Apollo, Hub Spot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Linked In Sales Navigator, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and trends
Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and team accountability
As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Must be tech‑savvy and administratively strong
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Given the nature of this role, it is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. This position may be required to download and utilize company software.
The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours on Pacific Time.
Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment reference, criminal record and credit checks.
Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government‑issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
