You can design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and components to required specifications? Then you are the candidate we are looking for! Our new Customer is looking for experienced Electrical Engineer for work in the Middle East.
Job purpose: Electrical Engineer will be responsible for implementing electrical components into any devices that use electricity. He will oversee electrical (lighting & power) & low current (fire alarm, BMS, CCTV, Access Control) services.
Location: Doha, Qatar

• Unlimited contract

Responsibilities:
• Carry out design for Electrical & Low current systems.
• Handling facility handover, refurbishment / modification projects and minor new works
• Co-ordinate & support Quantity Surveyor for material takeoffs
• Assess the current condition of electrical and other essential facilities and equipment.
• Review O&M manuals to ensure all electrical & low current services are maintained as per manufacturer guidelines & international standards
• Maintain an awareness of all potential risks to the facility day to day objectives and progress of the works
• Review submittals by tenants / subcontractors to ensure compliance to facility operation processes, Qatar Authority guidelines and International standards
• Support development, implementation & testing of emergency response plans, disaster recovery plans and business continuity plans
• Coordinate and finalize incident reports
• Reporting on plant condition, KPI status, benchmarking & corrective/preventive actions
• Attend and chair (if required) respective operational meetings
• Issuance of weekly / monthly reports as required
• Review payment certificates in line with contract requirements along with all supporting documents
Requirements:
• Work experience as Electrical Engineer min 10 years in construction, fit outs & operations for commercial properties & malls
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent + knowledge of AutoCAD
• Fluent English speaker, knowledge of PC (MS Office)
