Job details
1.Provides landscape architectural input to related projects and programs.
2.Coordinates landscape architectural activities with activities of other disciplines.
3.Provides technical advice to other Sections or Units.
4.Prepares technical specifications and scope of work descriptions.
5.Prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) documents with design concepts.
6.Provides technical assistance during pre-bid conferences, proposal evaluations, and post-award or other contract conferences.
7.Reviews A/E contractor design drawings, specifications, and calculations submittals, coordinates with the work of other disciplines and prepare written reports and review comments.
8.Performs field inspections and provides professional field support as necessary during construction phases.
9.Prepares technical correspondence, reports, and studies.
1.A minimum of bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture () with a minimum of 12 -18 years' post-graduate professional experience.
2.A minimum of 8-10 years' construction and design experience related to large scale community development with emphasis on site development is desirable.
3. registration in the appropriate discipline or Chartered Landscape Architect with Corporate (full professional) membership of the appropriate Institution is highly desirable.
4.A minimum of 3-5 years working professional experience at the Gulf Countries and coastal regions environments is highly desirable.
5.The ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English is essential.
6.Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences, both verbally and graphically
7.Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals.
8.Advising proponents on the practicality of their project.
9.Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
10.Specific technical qualifications for the requisitioned position are identified below:
a. In depth working knowledge of the landscape standers such as Time-Saver Standards for Landscape Architecture , ASTM , ANSI and others
a.Working Knowledge in design of hardscape, general irrigation, plants water demand, planting and site furniture considering outdoor signage, external lighting, water fetchers, human behavior, grading etc.
b.Experience with painting systems and other coating systems for Outdoor structures of wood, metal, concreteetc.
c.Knowledge of general zoning regulations and landscape criteria.
d.Knowledge of design and construction management principles, construction techniques, standards and practices.
e.Ability to independently evaluate, select and modify standard landscape architectural techniques, procedures and criteria.
f.Make frequent site visits, provide technical assistance and resolve construction issues.
g.The ability of working in cad, Revit (BIM), illustrator programs and other 3d computer ;
