We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual who can work within a growing team. Must exhibit strong work ethics, take pride in their work and love what they do. Creativity, baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries


What will you be doing? 

Qualified applicants must be able to bake from scratch. Applicants will prepare desserts using proprietary recipes and following guidelines to uphold company standards. Our goal is to consistently create the best pastries, cakes and desserts. Applicants will have skills in menu development, bread making, pastry dough, cake baking


Job description is as follows but not limited to:

  • Ensuring Culinary Standards And Responsibilities Are Met
  • Develops, designs, or creates new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions.
  • Recognizes superior quality products, presentations and flavor.
  • Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.
  • Maintains purchasing, receiving and food storage standards.
  • Supports procedures for food & beverage portion and waste controls.
  • Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
  • Supervises pastry preparation shift operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepares and cooks foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
  • Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
  • Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.

This includes, but is not limited to, adhering to time and temperature principles and properly following cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance procedures for all work areas such as, all equipment, utensils, work surfaces, walls and storage areas etc. Properly cover, labels, dates, and stores all food products.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years bakery experience preferred
  • Certified education from a reputable Food Prep and Culinary School
  • Certification in food safety, HACCP and or First Aid
  • Respect safety and hygiene standards
  • General knowledge and experience of baking cakes, pastries doughs, sauces and cake from scratch
  • Must have the ability to be aware and control many work areas simultaneously
  • Works within a team with great problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail; producing high quality desserts, both design and taste
  • Ability to take feedback and constantly be looking for ways to improve and grow
  • Works quickly and efficiently in an organized manner
  • Trustworthy, reliable and flexible with scheduling
  • Team Player
  • Respectful to others
