Job details
The main purpose of this role is to perform speech and language assessments and evaluations and design / implement structured and individualized treatment speech programs to teach children with various speech disorders or delays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide screening, consultation, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, intervention and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement highly specialized speech and language therapy treatment
programs to facilitate the recovery of speech, language and swallowing function.
Provide ongoing guidance within each client's individual program to family/caregivers and other professionals, ensuring each client's continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.
Communicate questions, child's progress or other feedback to parents, teachers and Multi-disciplinary team members.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation pertaining to each child's program.
Participate in clinic/team meetings, workshops and training seminars as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech / Linguistics.
Minimum 2 years' work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist
Preferably DHCC licensed or meet licensing requirements as per respective guidelines.
