Responsibilities

  • The QA Tester will work with the QA Manager and their respective producers to ensure Quality Assurance for titles produced by gumi Asia
  • Help Deliver test plans and release planning workflows for game Launch, feature Launches
  • Evaluate milestone deliveries and ensure that focus testing is carried out at the prescribed time for each title.
  • Help execute comprehensive test plans on pre-release versions of software, public beta release versions of software and pre-tech versions of software and to evaluate bug write-ups of any defects or design issues found during testing.
  • Test, tune, debug and suggest the detailed refinements to ensure quality and playability of a finished game.
  • Manual Testing and managing resources for the project in the Singapore and PH Studio.
  • Work within game teams to encourage adoption of testing best practices

Requirements

  • This is a 6 months contract role
  • Team player who can build strong relationships with internal and external teams to deliver the needs of the titles as well as the requirements of QA needs and tools
  • Has previous experiences formulating Test Plans for new feature or game launch
  • Strong understanding and comprehensive experience in game quality assurance
  • Team lead who can mentor, motivate and develop team members of various levels
  • Experience in Agile methodology, JIRA and other project management and bug tracking tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical
  • Game industry experience especially for mobile games with ongoing live operations
