This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated individual who wants to make a difference in students' life. You will join a dynamic international team and will be responsible for converting inquiries from students who are interested in studying in the UK. Your responsibilities would include converting inquiries into applications and then enrollments to our partner universities. The job is based in Aschrafieh, Beirut.

The Conversion Officer's responsibilities include high-quality service and enhancement of the experience of prospective students through provision of support during the pre- and post-application process as well as conversion and enrollment processes. The post must also act as a source of expertise for colleagues and students to ensure every aspect of the student journey is designed and delivered to reflect the highest standards. This includes the provision of high-quality advice regarding regulations and guidance informing the students and Recruitment and Counselling Teams and support for individual cases. Conversion Officer responds to a wide range of inquiries and ensure delivery of high standard customer services and is responsible for supporting conversion of student applications and enrollments at Global Study UK.

The role requires a combination of academic adviser and administrative skills in order to deliver a high-quality customer experience and sales support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow-up with students who applied to study at GSUK partner universities by using a range of technology and social media to contact students, in order to assure high standard post-application support.

Development of effective communication with our stakeholders

Analyzing feedback provided by students and other stakeholders

Supporting student conversion, across all markets, through the development and delivery of a range of new and existing initiatives;

Undertaking market research and providing administrative support to ensure optimal engagement with priority areas;

Providing strategic advice and support to the Recruitment and Counselling Teams on the most appropriate means of internal communication and practices that will engage the students and other stakeholders

Liaising with Partner Institutions to get up-to-date information about courses, applications, admission procedures and student advancement.

Creating and delivering a variety of initiatives aimed at engaging with current applicants to our partner Universities across foundation, pre-sessional, undergraduate and postgraduate levels of study.

Developing, commissioning & co-coordinating the timely delivery of conversion activities, including such activities as calling students, organise applicant visits to our offices and our fairs, and digital communication campaigns, and in doing so, showcasing our partner universities facilities, opportunities and experience of studying in the UK

Maintaining records of recruitment efforts per department guidelines.

Updating CRM and students' files, chasing Counselling Team updates.

Work upon targets and goals set.

Representing Global Study UK and Partner Universities at GSUK Education Fairs/info-sessions/School visits as well as at the local and partner's Events.

Assisting in the research and development of contact lists for potential new marketing and recruitment channels, partnerships, and outreach.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or above from an accredited institution of higher education

Proven track record of relevant work experience; customer service or administrative experience is beneficial

Knowledge of UK HE system

Awareness of UK immigration regulations, specifically Tier 4 Visa

Personal Qualities:

Highly motivated, focused and results driven

Optimistic, positive and supportive in all interactions with others

Other requirements:

To work at flexible schedule to meet customer's needs:

-to work at weekends during Fairs/School Tours and other campaigns (approx. 8 Fairs/School Tours - 10 weekends a year)

-to work extra hours if requested

-to be accessible at weekends via phone/e-mail

To be available for occasional business trips to the UK or other offices
