Our clients are currently recruiting a Legal Executive to join their team, based in Pinner, Middlesex.

They are the independent promotional verification specialists - they use their care, knowledge, expertise and passion for detail to ensure that all types of prize promotions via whatever medium are shaped and delivered fairly, securely and in compliance with the law and general best practice. In this way, they protect both the interests of the brand, their creative agencies and also the consumer, who with increased confidence about the fair operation of the promotion, would be more likely to participate.

So, on a day to day basis they are busy advising and influencing the development of on pack offers, judging competitions, running prize draws, implementing 'Willy Wonka' style instant wins and overseeing voting for major TV shows. Their client base includes some of the biggest companies in the world with a large part of work coming from projects run overseas - 60+ countries in 2019 alone.

Their experience and expertise in the running of safe, secure and legal promotions ensure that promoters, agencies, and broadcasters can get on with what they do best - be creative - and rest assured, secure in the knowledge that their promotion will not cause controversy or problems.

The words creative and legal don't usually appear together, but that is exactly what you need to be to succeed in this legal executive role.

Due to continued expansion, they are seeking to fill an important and challenging role in their Legal Team.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Provide a responsive and crucial function in the planning and implementation of legal services for consumer promotions from drafting Terms & Conditions, undertaking overseas legal reviews, through to creating privacy policies, legal waivers and consent documentation whilst identifying and managing risks.

Manage and deliver legal services on multiple allocated projects concurrently to ensure effective and efficient implementation of consumer promotions for our clients.

Review client briefs for legal services, qualifying information / highlighting any gaps in information before proceeding.

Draft Terms & Conditions and other legal documents to cover all necessary areas of risk and appropriately tailored to the promotional mechanic and client requirements.

Plan and implement legal reviews including; briefing to international legal suppliers, purchasing, managing timelines, interpreting responses, drafting reports and implementing registrations.

Create materials to maintain and update colleague's knowledge on assigned subject matters covering codes, laws and ASA rulings.

Collaborate with colleagues across the business to provide a seamless client experience.

Role Requirements:

A degree (achieving or higher) plus 6-12 months' work experience where you have developed legal knowledge, or

A Level education (at least 2 of these subjects at grade B: Maths/ Science, English and History) plus at least 1 years' experience within a previous role where you have developed legal knowledge.

Thrives and excels with performing non-routine work; quickly identifies and applies logic to new information.

Able to multitask, managing different requirements concurrently whilst achieving deadlines.

Excellent written communication skills.

High level of client care.

Proficient with Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) with good keyboard skills.

Strong knowledge of how to use different social media platforms.
