Job details
Must have minimum 3 years experience in optical fiber / VDSL as a Senior Technician/Engineer
- Able to work from a design document
- Installation and commissioning of fiber optic cables both OSP & for buildings and villas
- Structured cabling inside buildings essential
- Splicing of different types of fiber optic cable using Sumitomo/ Fujikura/ Fitel
- Termination of fiber optic cables from costumer side and from the intermediate building
- Testing and rectification of fiber optic cable using OTDR, power meter, VFL (EXFO/YOKO/JDSU etc.)
- Network terminations using different FOC connectors
- Fiber optic cable fault troubleshooting, isolation and restoration for down links
- Preparation and submission of documented reports
- Manhole to manhole & end to end otdr test.
- Must have international driving license
- Technical qualification essential
