We are recruiting for an Investments & Treasury Officer who will be responsible for supporting and taking ownership of tasks in the Investment & Treasury team across all areas of treasury management and investment monitoring and reporting.

The role will be working closely with the Investments & Treasury team and stakeholders at various levels throughout the organisation in a variety of locations.

Duties for this role include;

-Preparation of weekly / monthly cash analysis and explain the movements and utilisation while liaising with banks (including in GCC) and MMF's for accounts / deposits / redemption / transfers.

-Maintain the signatory mandates for cash and investments and liaise with parent group on related matters.

-Assist in preparation of cash and investments schedules for Syndicate for month end reporting along with carious Board and Committee packs

-Liaison and monitoring of both internal and external Asset Managers and receiving updates and reports from them

-Assisting in regulatory reporting for investment related matters in various jurisdiction (knowledge of QCB, BMA, Lloyd's , MFSA guidelines helpful)

-Monitoring the compliance of the investment guidelines for the various portfolios/funds and ensuring breaches are reported correctly.

-Liaise with actuaries, finance & underwriting teams to arrange for Letter of Credit across the group. Take full responsibility of operations with bank regarding the same and own the process. Maintain the schedule for LoCs

-Constantly seeks to improve practices and procedures within own area of responsibility, ensuring the maintenance of an effective control environment.

-Carry out day to day administration duties including filing, telephone enquiries etc.

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria;

-University degree, or a minimum of A levels or equivalent

-Good knowledge on how a treasury function works within Insurance and Reinsurance companies

-Experience of using Anoud, Power BI and Kernel systems-Experience of using a treasury system, as well as Lloyds Link and HSBC net

-Knowledge of various Asset class and Liquidity tools-Organised and able to use own initiative to develop and communicate ideas

-Experience of working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment, especially exposure to GCC countries

-Good numeracy and analytical skills as well as IT literacy-Shows as active interest in the financial markets and how they operate

-Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail
