We are recruiting Professional Drivers in Hounslow, for our students' home to school transport services. You will be responsible for transporting children and adults with special needs to various destinations, within and outside of the Borough, with or without an escort.

Minimum of 17 hours per week (Additional hours are available)

Term-Time Fixed Contract (37-week period)

Start Date: 30th August 2019

We are looking for someone who:

Is physically fit

Has a caring and friendly personality and good communication skills

Is able to use road maps

Works well under pressure or in emergency situations

Essential Requirements for the job:

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (CRB) - can be conducted by us if you do not already have one

PSV (D) or D1 Licence (without 101 restriction)

CPC Qualification or DCQ (preferred)

Main Role and Responsibilities:

Providing safe transport for students to and from school.

Ensuring the Safeguarding of children

Adhering to Company and School policies and procedures

To conduct vehicle checks each day and report any issues promptly.

Must be willing to undergo a driving assessment prior to starting

Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Build good working relationships.

Operate passenger lifts, portable ramps, wheelchair restraints and passenger's safety belts in line with the company's instructions and other set standards.
