Senior Backend Developer

As a heavily regulated (11 financial regulators across 5 continents), award-winning, and reliable financial institution, Multi Bank Group is devoted to innovation, excellence, and empowering our clients to achieve their financial goals.Seize the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing, world-class team spanning more than 20 countries, driven by innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.Responsibilities Write secure, clean code for web applications.Design client-side and server-side architecture.Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.Write effective, secure and industry accepted APIs.Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.Support and troubleshoot existing applications.Evaluate and analyze business requirements for new systems and system changes.Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.Qualifications4+ years of experience with full lifecycle of project development, preferably in fintech or financial services.Strong skills in PHP (symfony/laravel).Extensive experience in software design, architecture, development integration.Solid knowledge of event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration pattern, Web Service and REST.Experience with databases such as My SQL, Oracle and Postgre.Knowledge of RESTful APIs design.Understanding of MVC design patterns.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.Autonomous, critical-thinker & problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage.Knowledge on AWS lambda and messaging queue preferred.Preferred Qualifications Linux knowledge.Distributed/remote/global team working experience.Your active Git Hub/NPM portfolio.Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques.Familiar with Server-Side Rendering.Familiar with the source code of one or two famous front-end libraries.Knowledge of Type Script. #J-18808-Ljbffr
