Main Responsibilities
Establish and implement standard O&M policies and procedures according to Wärtsilä requirements.
Supervise plant electrical maintenance team to ensure the plant facility and equipment are always maintained in safe and efficient operating conditions.
Assist the Superior in scheduling overhauls using Maximo.
Provide schedules for normal operating periods, planned and forced outages to plant maintenance team and contractor personnel.
Set and maintain the maintenance‑specific training standards for personnel.
Establish, implement and manage all maintenance aspects of the power plant using total quality management techniques, including:
Planned engine & auxiliary maintenance
Unplanned engine & auxiliary maintenance
Plant inventory management
Maintenance reporting
Maintenance training
Spare parts inventory quality assurance through Maximo.
Maintenance history management
Prepare annual plant maintenance plan and maintenance capital and operating budgets in conjunction with the Superior.
Carry out tasks with minimum downtime while maintaining quality.
Implement technical bulletins and service letters relevant to the designated site.
Carry out any other task assigned by the Electrical Manager.
Job Location – Rawalpindi.
Qualification
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
