We are looking for the services of a Lab Support Engineer -Faculty of Computing Male

We are seeking a dedicated Computer Lab Charge responsible for managing and maintaining the computer lab, ensuring all equipment is functional and up-to-date. The role involves overseeing student usage, assisting teachers with tech support during lessons, implementing cybersecurity measures, and ensuring a safe and productive environment for learning. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a similar role

Proficiency in computer troubleshooting and basic network management

Strong communication and supervisory skills

Education

Bob's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree.

Knowledge and Personal Characteristics

Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

Team player with good interpersonal skills

Ability to perform under stress and aggressive deadlines

Self-organized with the ability to plan ahead

Punctual and organized
