Project Manager/ Contract Engineer (for bid) page is loaded Project Manager/ Contract Engineer (for bid)Apply posted on Posted 30+ Days Ago job requisition id JR109049Qualifications Degree in civil engineering or related field to civil engineering.15 years of experience in construction supervision of transport infrastructure projects such as bridges.Work experience in the Pacific or similar environments is required.Familiarity with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and supervision of construction works.Input Duration Minimum of 38 man-months input.Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for delivering services to ensure timely and effective project and contract completion.Manage the consultant team to fulfill their responsibilities under the contract.Monitor project progress, report issues, and propose resolutions to FRA and ADB/WB.Prepare progress reports, review sector reports, and finalize the project completion report for FRA and ADB/WB.Engage with third parties regarding site work aspects requiring their input.Review and approve all Temporary Traffic Management Plans to ensure safety and minimize delays.Assist in preparing progress reports related to contract supervision and construction progress.Evaluate contract variation requests due to unforeseen conditions or scope changes and facilitate resolution.Review payment certifications for consistency and compliance with design quality requirements.Identify potential design problems and propose solutions.The Contract Engineer will be based in Suva to stay informed about work progress and contractual issues.At Surbana Jurong, we value talent, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
