The purpose of this mid-level role is to work with the MENA GC and to deliver and support all of the legal work and the compliance programme within dentsu's MENA cluster.Job Title:Contract Manager**Job Description**:Job Description:- Drafts, negotiates, and advises on all types of commercial agreements.- Provides legal support on various matters to commercial teams in contractual negotiations to achieve the most advantageous and/or beneficial legal and commercial terms for dentsu.- Assists in developing and delivering training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management in managing legal risks (e.g. business training, legal updates, etc).- Helps to implement best-practices in compliance, contracts management, intellectual property, data protection, IT, litigation and/or M&A.- Assists with delivering cost-effective handling of existing litigation and disputes to protect dentsu's best interests, including timely and accurate reporting.- Assists with the MENA compliance program.Job Requirements:- Some post-qualification experience (minimum 5-8 years), with some law firm or/and multinational organization.- Local country qualification in a MENA market to practice law and experience of working across the MENA region.- Experience and knowledge of key legal principles relating to commercial contracts.- Ideally, experience in risk management and helping manage compliance programmes, including the drafting of policies and procedures and training.- Some knowledge of corporate governance.- Good presentation and communication skills.- Commercial acumen and awareness.- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.Key Experiences- Law firm or in-house experience- Multi-jurisdictional experience- Senior management interaction**Location**:CairoBrand:Time Type:Full timeContract Type:PermanentThis job has been sourced from an external job board.
