**Job Description**:You will be relied upon for your experience and discernment to plan and accomplish goals. You may lead and direct the work of others. You will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Training, education and/or experience in Computer Operations. Additional experience in computer hosting, Data center operations, etc. Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and crafts a winning culture.- **Responsibilities**:- Coordinate and perform work under general direction from the site IT manager and in-line with GMIT policies and procedures- Support GM managed LAN and WAN network infrastructure Hardware- Support Wireless network and end device configuration / replacement- Support the GM managed Supplier network- Support Voip and analog phone devices- Interface with plant engineering / maintenance for network support- Interface to the plant business personnel, outside vendors, launch teams, as well as the Global IT staff- Perform and Support network Change Controls as required- Maintain plant network and device documentation- Troubleshoot all network incidents and device issues- Perform CISCO Devices configuration / replacement- Support infrastructure project assigned tasks- Complete plant network ticket requests- Maintain IP addresses and DDI entries- Maintain asset management for IT equipment- Maintain all monitoring tools to ensure all devices are being monitored and notifications are in place- Provide production shift support by operating as a focal point to address all IT related requests as well as coordinate resolution of IT related incidents (able to support a plant manufacturing shift alone)- Coordinate fact finding and business impact assessment by contacting business partners- Initiate incident management process to coordinate resolution of issues and operate as focal point coordinating communication between central support and business partners- Provide troubleshooting to resolve device and network connectivity issues- Use common corporate IT tools to perform asset management, patching, and software installation- Use corporate IT tools to perform remote device management and user support- Build clients (PCs, Laptops, printers, wireless devices) per common procedure(s)=- Perform user and device administration using Active Directory Security Groups- ESXi initial configuration- Participate with cross-functional teams as required- **Qualifications**:- 3 to 5 years of IT experience- A bachelors degree in a technical discipline or graduate of a technical school/college in an IT discipline- Experience in operations support - responding to requests and ongoing day-to-day support at the site level- Manufacturing site experience is an asset, includes/not limited to familiarity with process control, error proofing, quality, production monitoring, and material management systems- In-depth experience and practical knowledge of networking systems including WAN, LAN, firewalls, wireless- Familiar with cloud computing- Experience in deploying, executing, testing, validating OS updates and patches- Experience in comprehensive network services & networks, including cable management & rack installations- Good knowledge about ITSM, active directory, group policy, IT cyber security, Microsoft exchange server distribution groups, SAN, and Backup solutions- MCSA certificate is a must.- CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft Servers - VMware Certification is preferred**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
