Newpriorities from the mechanical maintenance manager's office may interrupt yourday. The plant operates 24/7 and after safety, improving mean-time-between-failuresis your primary driver.**HowYou'll Make an Impact**- Focus and be a model for the safe execution ofany maintenance activity- Prepare and implement the maintenance schedulefor all mechanical equipment according to the O&M manual and monitor andlead its implementation to minimise equipment failure and maintain efficiency.- Prepare and optimise maintenance programs andspare parts requirements in coordination with other departments to ensure the availabilityand reliability of the power station.- Ensure all maintenance activity conforms toQHSE and determine whether the implementation is through a contractor or thestation itself.- Raise, follow up and monitor the department'spurchases for consumables, wear and tear and strategic spares and ensure these arealigned with the requirements of the O&M contract. Also, allocating the classificationof inventories accordingly.- Lead in safeguarding the KPIs of the department- Lead on power stations & plant's utilitiesunits minor/major breakdowns troubleshooting.- Lead PM plan execution with timelines &accountabilities.- Lead and coach the engineers across maintenanceactivities & tasks- Lead on root cause failure analysis andreporting- Act as the department planner and coordinator andinventory lead, and technical lead as long as within the capacity assigned by themechanical maintenance manager**What YouBring***- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineeringfrom a reputable university- Knowledge of maintenance of valves and pumps ina power plant- Troubleshooting skills- Basic leadership skills- Able to work a rotating shift scheduleincluding days, nights, weekends, and holidays on-call system- Ability to communicate effectively both orallyand in writing, robust networking, negotiating, and influencing skills- Excellent command of both English and Arabic- Able to prioritise tasks and effectively manageworkloads with mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multipleand diverse tasks.- Effective problem-solving skills and ability towork under pressure in time-critical situations- Sensitive and responsive to the needs ofdifferent religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.- Proven integrity and high personal standards ofbehaviour.- Experience in working in a multinational andmulticultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and abilityto successfully engage with diverse audiences.- Proficient in MSOffice suite**What WillPut You Ahead**- Experience in mechanical engineering work- You have proven experience in a similarposition.- Experience in Power Stations in "Operation& Maintenance."- Specialized knowledge of mechanical maintenanceof Gas and Steam Turbine, Generator, HRSG and BOP (Gas Plant, Water Treatment,Cooling Towers)- Knowledge of welding methods and NDT - readreports of welding inspection- Knowledge of engineering of balancing and shaftalignment- Knowledge of thermal analysis techniques andinterpret oil analysis- Strong communication skills and leadershipskills- Cost focus and awareness- Industry 4.0 experience**Who isSiemens Energy?**At SiemensEnergy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
