We aim to broaden thinking and advance understanding, providing academics and professionals with a platform to share ideas and realise their individual potential.**This role will involve travelling both domestically and internationally up to approximately 30% of your time.**Responsibilities include**:- Achieve sales growth and increase customer base.- Contributing to territory sales plans to maximize sales revenue.- Identifying opportunities for revenue growth within academic, corporate, Hospitals and government markets.- Maintaining and developing strong relations with agents, customers, and partners across the territory.- Providing quotations and effectively negotiating with customers and local partners.- Attending customer meetings and conferences throughout the territory- Delivering sales presentations to promote our products and business models to customers.- Conduct training sessions and organize marketing campaigns- Maintaining an up-to-date awareness of market feedback, prospects, sales reports, revenue forecasting data and other related sales data- Liaising with marketing and other departments to promote our products to drive high usage and ensure renewals.- Producing monthly sales reports and regular reports on sales activity and development opportunities**Qualifications****What we're looking for**:- Previous professional sales experience (3 Years' experience) and a proven track record in working towards sales targets and revenue- Experience in academic publishing or library with Extensive knowledge on Open Access would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.- Result driven and able to work independently, ability to manage multiple projects and being able to effectively prioritize their time and tasks- Ability to understand the challenge- and systematically problem solve using a variety of problem-solving techniques, identifying the route cause and providing insightful recommendations and solutions.- Excellent professional communication (written, verbal, and listening) and presentation skills at all levels of business.- Effective relationship management skills - to form strong relationships and partnerships both internal & external and the ability to build strong networks- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential (**French is a bonus**)**Additional Information**You must have the right to live and work in Egypt. This role is based in our office in Cairo and will involve quarterly visits to Taylor & Francis headquarters in the UK.
