Position: Consultant General Surgeon (Trauma) - Abu Dhabi Company: Allocation Assist Middle East Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Allocation Assist Middle East, a leading healthcare consulting agency in the region, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant General Surgeon (Trauma) to join a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi. This is a rare opportunity for a passionate and dedicated medical professional to work in a dynamic and state-of-the-art facility while enjoying the vibrant and cosmopolitan lifestyle of Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive surgical care to patients with traumatic injuries. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, and utilize the latest technology and techniques to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures on patients with traumatic injuries
- Conduct pre-op and post-op consultations with patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to evaluate and plan patient care
- Ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of trauma surgery
- Train and supervise junior medical staff and participate in surgical training programs
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Board certification in General Surgery or equivalent
- Fellowship in trauma surgery
- Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in the latest surgical techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to keep up with the latest developments in the field through continuous education and training
- Must be Western-trained
