Roles and Responsibilities

  • Experience of Cash Management, Digital Banking and Virtual Accounts for Corporate customers is a must
  • Experience of evaluating the requirements and writing Business Requirements documents
  • Breaking down the requirements from all stakeholders including business, IT, Support, Architecture
  • Supporting Business and project team with clarifications and requirements sessions
  • Understanding of the APIs and able to create the necessary mappings within the systems
  • Ability to understand the solution diagram and map to requirements
  • Creating Traceability matrix of requirements, designs, testing
  • Review the functional documents from vendors and support business discussions
  • Driving the Defect triage calls and coordinating the closure of defects
  • Supporting the project manager on related activities like reporting, financials
  • Requirements Gathering :
    • Stakeholder Communication : Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., managers, users, and clients) to understand and document their requirements and expectations.
    • Requirements Documentation : Gather and document business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements in clear, concise formats (e.g., user stories, use cases, or requirement specifications).
    • Facilitating Workshops and Interviews : Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys with stakeholders to extract detailed information about business needs and challenges.
  • Process Analysis and Improvement :
    • Business Process Mapping : Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    • Process Reengineering : Suggest and implement changes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Gap Analysis : Identify gaps between the current state and desired future state, and develop strategies for closing these gaps.
  • Solution Design and Validation :
    • Solution Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, process improvements, or system enhancements based on business needs and objectives.
    • Functional Specifications : Work with technical teams (e.g., developers, designers, testers) to translate business requirements into functional specifications that are understandable by the development team.
    • Test Case Development : Assist with the development of test cases and test scenarios based on the functional requirements, ensuring the solution aligns with business needs.
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) : Coordinate and support UAT by working with business users to verify that the solution meets the agreed-upon requirements and performs as expected.

  • Analytical Skills :
    • Strong ability to analyze business problems, processes, and data to identify solutions.
    • Ability to break down complex requirements into manageable components that can be addressed by the technical teams.
  • Communication Skills :
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to present complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Problem-Solving Skills :
    • Ability to identify root causes of business challenges and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to business processes or systems.
  • Business Knowledge :
    • In-depth understanding of the industry in which the business operates (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing) and the ability to apply that knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Understanding of business models, organizational structures, and how business processes interconnect.
  • Technical Skills :
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira , Trello , Asana ) for tracking tasks and progress.
    • Familiarity with data modeling, database management, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI , Tableau , SQL ).
    • Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile , Scrum , Waterfall ).
    • Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier , UiPath ).
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation :
    • Ability to write detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
    • Knowledge of various methodologies and frameworks for documenting requirements, such as Use Cases , User Stories , Business Process Models .
  • Project Management :
    • Familiarity with project management principles and frameworks, including Agile , Scrum , and Waterfall .
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail :
    • Ability to meticulously review documentation, requirements, and systems to ensure that all aspects of a project align with the business objectives.
