About Kimpton Riyadh Located in King Abdullah Financial District which is set in the heart of the Saudi capital, 22 kilometers away from the airport, Kimpton Riyadh is the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this LEED certified landmark development home to 1.6 million square meters of state-of-the-art office space, world-class venues and iconic luxury residences. The hotel welcomes guests to experience its 212 guest rooms and suites and to enjoy its unique dining options. Day to Day
- Patrol and Surveillance : Conducting regular patrols of the hotel premises, both interior and exterior, to monitor for any unusual activities or security breaches. Overseeing the operation of surveillance systems and ensuring they are functioning correctly.
- Incident Response : Responding promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Team Supervision : Leading and managing the security team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and providing training on security protocols and emergency procedures.
- Access Control : Managing access control systems to regulate entry to secure areas. Ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas.
- Risk Assessment : Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Policy Enforcement : Ensuring compliance with hotel security policies and procedures. Conducting regular audits to assess the effectiveness of security measures and making recommendations for improvements.
- Guest Interaction : Providing assistance to guests with security-related concerns. Ensuring a visible security presence to enhance guest confidence and safety.
- Documentation : Maintaining detailed records of security incidents, patrols, and inspections. Preparing reports for management on security activities and incidents.
- Crisis Management : Developing and implementing crisis management plans. Coordinating responses to security incidents or emergencies and conducting drills to ensure preparedness.
- Collaboration : Working closely with other departments, such as Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering, to ensure a holistic approach to security. Communicating security requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
- Two to Three years’ prior tenure in a similar role
- International luxury hotel chain background
- GCC exposure
- English Fluency is required
- Arabic Fluency is preferred
