The Role This is a senior leadership opportunity for a solicitor who excels in both legal expertise and business development. You will play a key role in growing our Private Client team, handling high-value, complex, and cross-border contested probate matters, and driving technological advancements in legal practice. Key Responsibilities Department Growth & Innovation:

• Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for the department, with a focus on business development and international probate cases.
• Integrate legal technology and innovative solutions to improve workflow efficiency and client service delivery.
• Act as a thought leader, advocating for legal tech advancements and modern client care practices.

Client & Case Management:

• Provide expert legal advice on high-value, complex contested probate cases, including those with cross-border elements.
• Leverage your existing client following to expand the firms client base and revenue streams.
• Maintain exceptional client satisfaction through clear communication and outstanding service

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture.
• Drive team productivity and performance through effective delegation, feedback, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure the department upholds the highest standards of legal service, compliance, and operational excellence.

• 10+ years PQE in contentious probate.
