About The Role and the Ideal Person

• Familiarity with the requirements described in the EnerMech Rope Access Procedure and IRATA International Code of Practice
• Working safely in accordance with task specific risk management requirements and work directions, processes, and procedures to deliver quality-controlled services and associated product
• Preparation of detailed rope access work documents (HIRAMS) including risk assessments, safe work method statements, rescue plans and toolbox talks
• Exercise Stop Work Authorities as required and report relevant hazards, process deviations and incidents/events
• Actively participate and contribute to the ongoing development of a strong and resilient QHSE Culture
• Ensuring the safety of the rope access team members, the public and the worksite
• Safe, effective, and appropriate supervision of rope access technicians while working at height, including work in confined spaces
• Setting up rope access work fronts including rigging of abseiling/access ropes and standby rescue systems
• Close monitoring of newly qualified/inexperienced technicians
• Safe and effective rescue provision in accordance with risk assessments and method statements for all rope access work
• Continual surveying of the worksite for hazard identification
• Accurate completion of technicians' logbooks
• Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with EnerMech safety and quality management systems

• Nationally Accredited Working at Heights Ticket
• Nationally Accredited First Aid Certificate
• White Card

• Trade Certificate

• Nationally Accredited Confined Space Ticket
