Marketing Intern – Tourism/Hospitality – Waldorf Astoria
As a Marketing Intern, your role is to support the marketing team in achieving its goals, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, and contributing to the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:- Support the marketing team in executing various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist in market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Aid in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop creative content for marketing campaigns.
- Help maintain and update marketing content through Hilton toolkits and others necessary.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events, such as trade shows, webinars, and product launches.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, taking notes, and managing files and documents.
- Participate in marketing meetings to maintain a record of monthly actions, goals & objectives.
- Collaborate with Influencers.
- Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
- Gain proficiency in marketing analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance.
- Learn and apply basic graphic design skills for creating marketing materials.
- Support website maintenance and updates, including content management and optimization.
- Familiarize oneself with marketing automation platforms and assist in campaign automation and workflows.
Required Skills and Abilities
A Marketing Intern serving Hilton Brand hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Marketing Internship in a similar environment.
