We are currently hiring a dynamic Events Specialist , responsible for the end-to-end event coordination in alignment with business objectives to join our team. Key Accountabilities:
- Understand requirements for each event, take charge of event operations (preparing venue, invitations, supply of events’ merchandise, maintaining and updating event calendars, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers when necessary).
- Accompany and assist the Head of Events in both internal and external events along with extending logistical and administrative support and attend all meetings to act as a second point of contact.
- Secure event venue, research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and negotiate the best combination of quality and cost within given budget.
- Manage all event set-up, conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to pre-set standards, maintain records on event activities, progress, or status and manage tear down, and follow-up processes.
- Evaluate the event’s success and submit reports and feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Certification in Hospitality or Event management is desirable.
- 3+ years in a similar operational and administrative role.
- Project management skills to execute and deliver the event timely and without fail with a keen eye for detail.
- Budgeting skills to assist the Head of Events in the financial planning phase.
- Ability to communicate and network.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- English.
- Any other language is desirable.
