Management Accountant Somersby, New South Wales

We are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team in Somersby. About the Role Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, your new role will involve supporting the provision of accurate and timely financial analysis and advice to management across the key portfolios of manufacturing and supply chain within the Borg Group. This is a fast paced role that works across a diverse range of industries across the group that will see you constantly changing and adapting. Responsibilities will include:

• Developing, preparing and analysing monthly management reports
• Preparing and analysing operational cost reports
• Continuously seeking to improve business and finance processes
• Managing monthly inventory provisions
• Collaborating with operations and IT to ensure the accuracy of the inventory system
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Providing assistance to external auditors as required
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation

• Advanced Microsoft Excel or BI software skills
• Experience with implementing solutions with ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• At least 5 years’ experience in a management accounting role
• A proactive attitude towards business improvement.
• Experience with FIFO and weighted average costing systems
