Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager - Procurement ((E&I/IT/Digital)

Key Responsibility Area:

• Coordinate with Units to seek rolling plan of capex and opex requirement of (30+5 project sites) Units, and Plan aggregation of requirements of several types / makes of equipments / services.
• Vendor identification, evaluation with support from SME and Units for technical evaluation and subsequent introduction. This includes OEM / Import substitution.
• Carry out periodic performance review and appraisal of suppliers with inputs from Units and constructive feedback to suppliers.
• Estimate Total cost of ownership to make final decision of purchase.
• Keep track of PR ageing, and take proactive action in case of delays.
• Maximum utilization of SAP to reduce unproductive data entry / communications / follow-ups.
• Work with Commercial Section Heads at Units to ensure timely payments to suppliers for orders under portfolio as per terms of contract.
• Lead the Registration and evaluation process for new vendor registration.
