Job Description:
- Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Autocad and Navisworks ELEC System Knowledge. In-depth understanding of ELEC systems, including different types of equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and their interactions within a building's structure.
- Building Systems Coordination: The ability to coordinate ELEC systems with other building systems (structural, architectural, Electrical, plumbing, etc.) to identify and resolve clashes or conflicts.
- 3D Modeling and Visualization: Proficiency in creating accurate 3D models and visualizations of ELEC systems to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Shall be able to work independently with minimal monitoring
- Maintain standards of information presentation and ensure accuracy in delivery.
- Shall be able to perform Self-checking/vetting of all drawings before issue to checker/reviewer.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure the model & Details being delivered are coordinated to avoid any clashes & Ensuring Integrated delivery.
- AutoCAD Skills: Knowledge of AutoCAD for detailed drafting and documentation of ELEC systems is often a requirement in this role. Documentation: Ability to generate detailed ELEC drawings, schematics, and specifications for construction and permit applications. Time Management: Efficient project management and time management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure project progression.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information to various team members.
- Quality Control: Ability to review BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and coordination with project requirements.
- COBie: Strong knowledge of COBie implementation/delivery deliverables at LOD 300.
- Problem resolving: Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
