Management Accountant

Division: Boral Constr Mat Limited Department: Overhead Nsw Act Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Sydney We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join the team based at North Ryde, NSW 2113. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization whilst gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Your day will involve:

• Month-end accounting including journals and reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Work with Quarries business to drive favourable cash outcomes across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory.
• Capital management – reporting, business case development and member of Quarries Capital Committee.
• Ensure all transactional processes comply with accounting standards and Boral Accounting Policies.
• Identify and report process gaps and participate in continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ad-hoc analysis & insights that drives business objectives.
• Support State Commercial Finance Managers.

What we are looking for:

• Superior Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
• Experience in understanding complex financial reports.
• Detailed understanding of Financial Systems.
• Strong people skills and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
