You will:Deliver curriculum in person to students, with approximately 24 contact hours per weekDesign curriculum for hands-on classes (physics, chemistry)Deliver engaging learning activities that promote critical thinking and problem solving, and encourage students to become life-long learnersDevelop lesson plans and learning materialsDeliver STEM-orientated instruction through Project-Based Learning methodsEstablish clear objectives for all lessons, curricular units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to the studentsAssess student progress and achievement in a variety of ways on a regular basis, providing reports as requiredSALARY AND BENEFITSGross salary circa SAR18,500 p/ £3,900 per month (including housing and other allowances) TAX FREE30 working days annual leave + KSA national holidaysEnd of service benefitsJob requirementsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCETo be considered for this role, you MUST possess the following qualifications and attributes:Master's or bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Physics/Engineering/STEM/EducationTeaching qualification to level 4 (working towards level 5 within 2 years)Have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary levelExperience in working within 3rd Millennium learning environments and with digital devices and peripherals, particularly CAM-controlled engineering machinery, including 3D printersProven experience in effectively applying experiential learning practiceProven experience of sound formative assessment to inform learner progress and achievementProven experience in working in partnership with other colleagues to design and deliver an integrated curriculumKEY COMPETENCIESWe are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and abilities:Thorough knowledge of teaching best practicesStrong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated track record of identifying and meeting needs proactivelyStrong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to set priorities in a dynamic and complex environment to meet critical deadlines and milestonesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to own professional development
