Instrumentation Engineer

Designation : Junior Instrumentation Engineer About Manastu Space We are a Space Safety and Logistics Company, using technology to save the Trillion $ Space industry from Debris Pollution in Space . We believe that the problems of Earth can be solved using Space. However, the rapid increase in the number of satellites is also increasing the risk of satellite collision , leading to Debris pollution- making space a dangerous place for other satellites as well as astronauts. To prevent this, we are developing an Agile, Safe, Efficient and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine and catalyst for the engine to avoid satellite collision in space and prevent Debris Pollution, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology. Experience Required : Minimum 1 Year of Experience Responsibilities:

• Identifying and selecting appropriate sensors based on the specific requirements of our aerospace application. Integrating sensors into the system, ensuring proper calibration, and validating their performance.
• Implementing efficient and reliable methods for interfacing sensors with the system, including noise reduction processing techniques. Ensuring accurate and reliable measurement data through appropriate filtering, amplification, and signal conditioning.
• Developing calibration procedures and performing calibration of sensors and measurement instruments to ensure accurate and consistent results. Conducting thorough testing and validation of the instrumentation system to verify its performance and reliability.
• Setting up data acquisition systems with software to collect and record sensor data during operational conditions. Analysing and interpreting the acquired data to extract meaningful insights and identify any anomalies or trends.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues related to sensors, instrumentation systems, and data acquisition. Conducting periodic maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the instrumentation equipment.
• Identifying compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols relevant to aerospace instrumentation. Adhering to quality control processes and participating in audits to maintain the highest standards of reliability and safety.
• Generating detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, test plans, calibration reports, and user manuals. Providing timely and accurate reports on the performance and functionality of the instrumentation system.
• Preparation and review of PLC Architecture, I/O mapping, review of PLC panel wiring & GA drawings and HMI & SCADA graphics

• Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent with experience in sensors and its interfacing.
• Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in instrumentation engineering (preferably in the aerospace industry). Experience in sensor selection, integration, and calibration for aerospace applications is highly valued.
• Proficiency in sensor interfacing techniques, including analog and digital signal noise reduction processes, sensor integration, data acquisition, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with various types of sensors used in aerospace applications such as pressure sensors, temperature sensors, accelerometers, gyroscopes, etc.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for aerospace instrumentation. Understanding the requirements for reliability and safety.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and real-time monitoring tools is advantageous.
• Familiarity in Automation skills and knowledge in PLC and control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation and sensor integration. Ability to work under pressure and handle complex technical challenges in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
• Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi) to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers. Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and provide guidance to team members.
