Job Purpose Lead and deliver complex environmental consulting and field services projects, ensuring technical excellence, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction while adhering to REEF's standards. Support the establishment of REEF's environmental services division through implementation of industry best practices in environmental consultancy project management. Job Responsibilities

Manage diverse environmental projects including impact assessments, ecological surveys, environmental monitoring programs, and physical environmental works
Lead multidisciplinary teams of environmental scientists, field technicians, and specialists
Develop and maintain project environmental management plans, monitoring programs, and compliance documentation
Oversee field operations, including equipment deployment, sampling protocols, and data collection
Ensure quality control of environmental data collection, analysis, and reporting
Manage relationships with environmental regulators and stakeholders
Support the development of environmental service offerings and methodologies
Contribute to proposals and business development for environmental services
Support the setup of environmental field operations and quality management systems

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

Develop and implement environmental field protocols and procedures
Establish quality control systems for environmental data collection and analysis
Prepare technical environmental reports and compliance documentation
Maintain environmental monitoring and measurement systems.

Safety, Quality & Environment

Ensure field safety protocols and environmental protection measures
Implement quality control for environmental sampling and analysis
Maintain environmental compliance during field operations
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements Qualification and Experience

Master's degree in Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Ecology, or related field
Minimum 15 years experience in environmental consulting, including field operations
Proven track record managing environmental monitoring and assessment projects
Experience with environmental regulatory compliance and permitting
Professional certification in relevant environmental field is preferred

Skills

Strong technical expertise in environmental assessment and monitoring
Field operations and logistics management capabilities
Environmental data analysis and interpretation skills
Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with environmental monitoring equipment and technologies
Project management and team leadership abilities
Technical report writing and presentation skills

Job Context

The Environmental Services Project Manager will lead complex environmental field projects while establishing REEF's environmental services capabilities. They will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and environmental compliance.
