Job Description
We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the end-to-end supply chain process. The ideal candidate will work across procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution to ensure that materials and products are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. The Supply Chain Coordinator will also play a key role in coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any supply chain-related issues.Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Management:- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate delivery schedules and pricing with suppliers to meet company needs and budget constraints.
- Oversee and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring stock availability and minimizing excess inventory.
- Track inventory movements and maintain accurate records of all stock levels.
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure the proper storage and handling of goods.
- Coordinate order processing, ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time and according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Monitor shipments, tracking any delays or issues and resolving them quickly.
- Act as the point of contact for coordinating supply chain activities across departments such as production, logistics, and customer service.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure materials are available for manufacturing schedules.
- Identify and resolve any supply chain disruptions, including shortages, delays, and logistical issues.
- Maintain accurate supply chain records and databases, including inventory, shipments, and supplier performance.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and potential improvements.
- Provide regular reports on supply chain activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, order fulfillment accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Recommend and implement strategies for streamlining processes, including sourcing, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for customs, transportation, and product safety compliance.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in supply chain coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle supply chain disruptions efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar).
- Experience working with international supply chains.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience with demand planning and forecasting.
