We are hiring an experienced and dynamic Call Center Manager (Outbound Sales) with a minimum of over 5 years of overall experience in outbound sales with at least experience in managing call center operations and team management. The incumbent will be responsible for outbound sales of Solar products like Batteries, Inverters, and power backup and energy storage solutions. The right candidate must have a proven track record and experience in managing outbound sales teams in a call center environment, driving revenue growth, and optimizing sales performance. This is a leadership position that requires strong team management skills, a result-driven mindset, and a good understanding of the solar industry. Job Role & Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the outbound sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets month-on-month for our solar products like batteries, inverters, and energy storage systems.
- Set clear performance goals, KPIs, and sales quotas for individual team members and the entire department, ensuring alignment with broader sales objectives.
- Provide regular training and feedback to the team to improve their sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement strategies for continuous improvement, ensuring high levels of motivation and accountability within the team.
- Develop and implement effective outbound sales strategies to drive new customer acquisition, generate leads, and close sales of solar energy products.
- Identify and target key customer segments, including residential customers, commercial clients, and solar and renewable energy installers.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to create targeted sales campaigns, promotions, and messaging that resonate with potential customers.
- Use data-driven insights and analytics to refine sales tactics, enhance customer engagement, and drive consistent revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze outbound sales performance, tracking key metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, lead generation, and overall sales.
- Generate regular reports on sales activities, lead generation progress, and team performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Address any sales performance issues promptly by making team adjustments to processes, training, or sales scripts to ensure continued success.
- Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including addressing inquiries, providing product information, and managing customer concerns.
- Implement strategies to build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business through follow-ups and post-sale engagement.
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded accurately in CRM software for future reference and to support the customer journey.
- Continuously evaluate and improve outbound call center processes, sales scripts, and performance protocols to increase efficiency and optimize sales outcomes.
- Ensure the sales team’s adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices when handling customer interactions.
- Oversee quality assurance efforts to ensure all calls meet high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product management, and sales teams to align outbound sales efforts with broader company objectives and promotions.
- Work closely with customer support and technical teams to ensure smooth transitions for leads, providing detailed product knowledge and support as needed.
- Ensure the accurate flow of information between the call center and other departments to improve overall customer experience and sales performance.
- Oversee the use of CRM systems, dialers, and other sales tools to ensure efficient lead management, tracking, and follow-up.
- Stay updated on the latest call center technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure the team is using the most effective resources for success.
- Ensure the integration of data from outbound sales efforts into broader sales and marketing systems for strategic decision-making.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in outbound sales, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership role, preferably in the solar, energy, or technology sectors.
- Proven experience managing call center operations, driving sales growth, and leading high-performing outbound sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
