.NET Solution Architect - Healthcare IT

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Solution Architect to design and oversee the implementation of a modern Hospital Management System (HMS) for a large hospital chain. This high-stakes program requires a professional who can hit the ground running, adapt to a steep learning curve, and quickly immerse themselves in the complexities of healthcare IT. The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in setting up integration frameworks , designing key system modules , and ensuring the overall architecture aligns with business and technical requirements. Strong expertise in healthcare systems, cloud technologies, and scalable solution design is essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture Design:
• Define the end-to-end architecture for the HMS, leveraging Angular, .NET, SQL Server , and Azure Cloud .
• Ensure the architecture supports scalability, performance, security, and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Integration Framework Setup:
• Design and implement robust integration frameworks to support seamless connectivity with medical devices, third-party systems, and internal modules.
• Oversee interservice communication using Azure Service Bus , Azure API Management , or similar tools.
• Module Design & Development:
• Lead the design and development of critical system modules, including patient management, device integration, and audit frameworks.
• Ensure modules are designed for high performance and interoperability across a distributed hospital environment.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical direction to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with domain consultants and technical leads to translate clinical and operational requirements into technical designs.
• Performance Optimization:
• Architect solutions to handle high transaction volumes and ensure system availability across multiple locations.
• Optimize performance for staged rollouts and incremental feature delivery.
• Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure the solution adheres to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA , ASTM , and HL7 .
• Implement Azure-native solutions for traffic management , observability , and security , per the program’s SoW.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work with the Delivery Head, client leadership, and cross-functional teams to align architectural decisions with business goals.
• Present regular updates on architectural progress, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

• Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience designing enterprise-grade solutions using Angular , .NET , SQL Server , and Azure Cloud .
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud-native solutions, and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Service Mesh , Azure API Management , and Azure Service Bus .
• Healthcare IT Knowledge:
• Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 , ASTM , and HIPAA .
• Prior experience designing or implementing systems for hospital workflows or medical device integration.
• Architectural & DevOps Skills:
• Expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .
• Strong understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools in Azure to ensure system reliability.
• Quick Adaptability:
• Proven ability to master complex domains and hit the ground running in fast-paced environments.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Communication & Leadership:
• Excellent ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Track record of mentoring teams and driving architectural decisions.

• Certification in Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.
• Experience with Hospital Management Systems (HMS) , Electronic Medical Records (EMR) , or Electronic Health Records (EHR) solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
