Job Description

Due to expansion, Michael Cronin Readymix is looking for 10 HGV Artic Drivers & Tippers based in Killarney, V93 XK82 County Kerry. This is a permanent, full-time position. 40hrs/wk €34,882/annum Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Cleaning down of lorries.
2. Checks tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels, and general condition of the vehicle.
3. Drives vehicle from depot to loading/unloading point.
4. Agrees delivery schedule and route with transport management.
5. Assists with loading/unloading and ensures that load is evenly distributed and safely secured.
6. Maintains records of journey times, mileage and hours worked.
7. Undertakes minor repairs and notifies supervisor of any mechanical faults.

Possession of a EC/Code 14 License is essential plus a clean license record. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties, and you will be requested to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and overall business objectives of the organization.
